Nijmegen (The Netherlands), June 17th 2009 — For PET imaging, a rapidly growing diagnostic tool, nuclear tracers have to be prepared on site. The technique requires only very small amounts, and synthesis can be enhanced by microreactor technology.

FutureChemistry, Radboud University Nijmegen and Nijmegen University Medical Centre have jointly received a grant from the Dutch provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel with the program ’Nano4vitality’.
