Equipment development and automation
Integrating fluidic, mechanical and automated control systems for radiochemical production.
We develop equipment to automate your radionuclide or radiopharmaceutical production process.
Practical requirements such as fluid handling, mechanical design, radiation protection and operability are considered from the start.
Capabilities
Where we can contribute.
01
Overall system design and integration
System architecture, process flow and integration with surrounding equipment and facilities.
02
Mechanical design
Frames, enclosures, holders and mechanisms for practical operation and serviceability in laboratory, cleanroom and hot-cell environments.
03
Hot-cell operability
Manipulator-based handling, remote operation, operator visibility, material loading, consumable exchange and maintenance strategies.
04
Fluidic process engineering
Fluid and gas handling with pumps, valves and tubing, consumable integration and dead-volume management.
05
Column and cartridge integration
Preparative HPLC, ion-exchange chromatography and solid-phase extraction.
06
Electrical, instrumentation and control
Electrical design, sensors and actuators, interlocks, operator interfaces and software integration.
07

Scope
FutureChemistry designs and builds custom radiochemical production equipment, including its mechanical, fluidic, electrical and control systems. Formal shielding calculations and regulatory radiation protection responsibilities are outside our scope, as is the design of hot cells, cleanrooms, HVAC systems and site infrastructure beyond the equipment interfaces.
